Starting in the Spring 2023, the club requires each family to provide a check for $100 each season, which will be shredded as soon as the family has satisfied their volunteer requirements for that season. This is not intended to be a fundraiser but rather a way to encourage participation from our families. As our club continues to grow, we need more and more support to make it a terrific experience for our players.
There are many opportunities to help the Shaler Soccer Club and satisfy the volunteer requirements.
Member Level - 3 Activities per family
Many activities are needed each week in order to make the club run smoothly. Families can sign up for shifts throughout the season.
Coach/Age Group Commissioner Level - 1 Activity per family
Coaches plan and supervise training sessions to develop general fitness and specific soccer skills and oversee the teams performance during a game.
Age group commissioners assist players, parents and coaches with questions and concerns as well as field set up and concession stand coordination.
Board Members at Large/Executive Board - 1 Activity per family
The Members at large are responsible for carrying out the essential club activities.
The Executive Board is the leadership within the governing body of the club. Primary focus is on the administration of club activities.
